Women Who Sail is an advocacy organization providing resources, support, and a safe space for women and non-binary sailors. Comprising more than 50,000 members internationally, Women Who Sail is the first and only of its kind community, built through grassroots efforts to create a forum for discussion, exchange, and coordination for a community often alienated and underserved by the mainstream sailing community, which is dominated by men and traditional yacht clubs.

The organization has evolved and grown significantly in just over a decade since its founding, building from a core Facebook group organized and promoted by female sailing bloggers looking to create a forum for sharing tips and advice.  Women Who Sail is now one of the strongest platforms for advocacy in the sailing world, with partnerships with organizations including the US National Women’s Sailing Association (NWSA), Mustang Survival.  Women Who Sail is committed to providing resources and opportunities for its members and working with businesses and organizations in the field to effect change and create a more equitable, diverse world of boating.
